Digital electronic boost/vacuum gauge features the E-Z view display system that increases the readability by reducing the distractions that usually occur due to high-speed digit changes. In market, most gauges are both boost and vacuum gauges, but there are some gauges that are only boost gauges. Thus, it is important to give a careful look at what you’re buying.

Installing a digital electronic boost/vacuum gauge can be a tricky task. The following is a brief guide about how to install this gauge:

1. Make sure that you have all the parts, and the engine is cool.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Mount the gauge in a 21⁄16” hole.
4. Use a drill to make a hole of 1” diameter from where wires could be passed through the sheet metal. After that, install the rubber grommet in it.
5. Mount the MAP sensor securely to the firewall. Note: the pressure port should be facing down.
6. Take out a manifold vacuum hose and install the T-fitting in it.
7. White wire should be connected to dash lighting and red wires to a switch +12 volt source.
